Podcast are my way of switching off, learning and being uplifted spiritually. Here are my top 10 podcasts for women focused on faith, health, food and fun!
I listen to podcasts rather than listening to the radio while driving or dwelling on the mountains of laundry to fold, podcasts are an activity I look forward to and motivates me to do the “mundane” everyday activities. I have learned so much and grown in my faith and wholesome living practice. Through this review I will share my top 10 podcast for women.
Disclaimer one: Discern with Scripture and Prayer!
I believe we need to discern using scripture and prayer whatever media we consume. Although I enjoy these podcasts, and feel I have been uplifted by them, I do not want to suggest I agree with absolutely everything they say from a Christian or health perspective. Here are just some suggestions for podcast for women that may be for faith, health or just for fun!
Disclaimer two: I’m a podcast Junkie
Yep, if you know me personally and haven’t heard me say “I was listening to a podcast the other day and….” you are either deaf or really haven’t listened to me talk at all! I love learning and podcast are one way I can learn through listening on the go. They help me pass time during household jobs, they fill my heart with the gospel and inspire me in my homemaking, OT and mothering journey.

FAITH Podcasts for Women
1. Revive our Hearts Podcast for Women
The revive our hearts podcast was recommended to me by a friend from my Church. Since diving into the episodes I have absolutely loved this podcast. The podcast host Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth is a godly woman filled with wisdom. Her mission is to call women to freedom, fullness and fruitfulness in Christ. My favourite thing about this podcast is the focus on the gospel. We can easily be sucked into the “emotional” accounts or opinions of other women. However, this podcast for women continually points back to God’s word.
Nancy is also an author of 24 books and is part of the Revive our Hearts ministry for women. She also hosts a podcast of bite sized devotions called Seeking Him which I have yet to get in to, but excited to try!
RECOMMENDED EPISODE:
I recently finished Nancy’s series on Psalm 23. Wow for having read that psalm about 300 plus times and reciting it by heart I really didn’t know it at all. Definitely worth a listen!
2. Risen Motherhood Podcast FOR WOMEN
This podcast for women is a beautifully real space. Emily and Laura are sister in laws who share their gospel centred tips, encouragement and challenges on motherhood. I love listening to this podcast as it has encouraged me in my new role as a mother to look to Christ for guidance, purpose and hope. We can get bogged down by the decisions, responsibility, or mundane repetition of motherhood. We can easily lose focus on our purpose here on this earth. God has called us as women and mothers to raise our children and open our homes to be places of learning and growing in Christ. The Risen Motherhood podcast has challenged some of my habits and weaknesses as a mother and daughter of Christ.

I’m a regular listener of Risen Motherhood and Simple Farmhouse Life! I find Risen Motherhood’s Christ-centered approach so refreshing, and I love how they often leave the practical application up to each individual mama. Simple Farmhouse Life gives me lots of inspiration in the kitchen and around the home! I want to check out Revive Our Hearts and Paul Tripp’s podcasts. Thanks for the recommendations!
