Simple Acai Smoothie Bowl Recipe - Healthy Breakfast treat
A simple healthy breakfast option that is filled with antioxidants, probiotics and leafy greens to kickstart your day!
- 1 cups frozen berries
- 2 fresh or frozen ripe banana be sure to use frozen if you are using the powdered açai
- 1 1/2 cups of yoghurt or milk kefir
- 2 packets of frozen unsweetened açai berries or 1 1/2 tsp of Açai berry powder
- 1 large handful of leafy greens
- 1/2 avocado
- Toppings such as fresh berries or fruit nuts and seeds, coconut and cocao nibs.
- Milk or coconut water of your choice add until smooth consistency forms
Mix all ingredients in high power blender. Use spatula to push ingredients to centre. Blend until smooth. Add milk or coconut water to help form a smooth consistency
Pour into bowls and top with your favourite toppings such as: fresh berries or fruit, granola, nuts and seeds, coconut and cocao nibs.
Enjoy immediately!
Store excess ingredients in the freezer for another breakfast.
